Privacy notice

Effective 17 July 2026

This notice covers project inquiries submitted through the contact form on prooftools.ai. It does not cover customer delivery environments or data handled under a separate commercial agreement.

Who controls the data

For a privacy request, use the contact form, choose Other, and begin the project summary with Privacy request.

What is collected

  • Name and work email.
  • Company, when provided.
  • Inquiry type, target environment, timeline, and project summary.
  • Submission timestamps and the Cloudflare Turnstile verification result.

ProofTools does not store the visitor's raw IP address in its contact database. Do not submit passwords, API keys, model weights, personal datasets, medical information, or other sensitive customer data.

Why it is used

The data is used to assess the requested work, respond to the inquiry, maintain a limited business record of the conversation, and protect the form from abuse. Processing is based on steps requested before a possible contract and ProofTools' legitimate interests in operating and securing its business inquiry channel. It is not used for unrelated mailing lists or sold to third parties.

Service provider and location

Cloudflare provides the website hosting, Turnstile verification, and D1 database. The D1 database was created with Cloudflare's EU jurisdiction setting. Cloudflare's edge and security services may process technical request data in other locations under Cloudflare's own safeguards and privacy terms.

Retention

Contact submissions are retained for no more than 180 days after their last update and may be deleted earlier when no longer needed. If an inquiry becomes a commercial engagement, necessary business records are moved to the relevant contract and accounting systems and follow their applicable retention requirements.

Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy of your contact data, and may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Use the privacy-request path above. You may also contact the data protection authority that applies to your location.

Changes

Material changes will be published on this page with a revised effective date. The current notice is intentionally limited to the public contact workflow.
